The Amsterdam Tram (Dutch: Amsterdamse tram) is a tram network in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It dates back to 1875 and since 1943 has been operated by municipal public transport operator Gemeentelijk Vervoerbedrijf (GVB), which also runs the Amsterdam Metro and the city bus and ferry services.

There are currently 15 tram lines running in Amsterdam. A new tram line was added in December 2020, the Amstelveenlijn (line 25). As the trams on line 25 are narrower in design, bikes are no longer allowed to be taken on board. The 16 tram lines of central Amsterdam are the primary means of getting around this small city's "downtown" area.
